The Kenli 600-100 million ton oil field is located in the southern waters of the Bohai Sea. The proven geological reserves of oil exceed 100 million tons. It is the first shallow exploration discovery in the low uplift of Laibei, Bohai Sea in my country. A large oil field with billion-ton lithology. The oilfield drilling development project consists of three blocks, and a total of 177 wells have been drilled by 9 drilling operating platforms. It is the largest offshore drilling development project in my country so far, with the shortest time and the most platforms.

As the first drilling project in the Bohai Oilfield to be connected to shore power development, the Kenli 6-1 oilfield drilling development project uses power grid shore power to replace the traditional diesel power generation of offshore drilling platforms for operations. Diesel consumption is significantly reduced, and a single platform can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 10,000 tons per year.

It is reported that since the Kenli 6-1 oil field was put into operation, the shore power application project has supplied a total of approximately 38 million kilowatt hours. According to the design scale, after the third phase of the shore power project is fully put into use, about 75% of the offshore platforms in the Bohai Oilfield will be supplied with shore power.

It is understood that the Kenli 6-1 oilfield drilling development project adopts domestically independently developed drilling equipment "Xuanji" system, intelligent completion and horizontal open hole well segmented filling integration technology, etc. A number of domestically produced process technologies have reached the leading domestic level.
